Strategy presets

What the strategy labels mean

Strategy presets are named combinations of indicator filters. They help users focus on specific market setups instead of treating every technical signal as equal.

How to read a badge

A badge such as 11/2a combines two ideas: the backtest rank and the stable main-page label. The rank may change when strategies are retested. The label stays stable so users can compare report pages over time.

Main strategy families

FamilyWhat it looks for
Trend Quality Stoch RSIAssets in broader technical strength where monthly Stoch RSI suggests a constructive cycle.
Default Indicators SetA broad technical filter combining monthly Stoch RSI, Williams %R, RSI, and 200D MA context.
Mean Reversion PullbackQuality assets that have pulled back into a measurable oversold or stretched condition.
Quality Growth / BreakoutLiquid assets with trend quality, relative strength, and proximity to important highs.
Ichimoku research filtersCloud-based trend confirmation across daily, weekly, and monthly timeframes.

Practical interpretation

  • A strategy match is a starting point for research, not an instruction to buy.
  • Higher historical rank does not remove the need to inspect the chart and current news.
  • Small-sample strategies should be treated as experimental even when historical returns look strong.
  • Filters can be combined with broker availability, region, liquidity, and sector context.
