What is used
TrendRadar combines daily market history with locally derived trend, momentum, liquidity, relative-strength, and market-context fields. Company profile and selected fundamental fields are cached from the data provider so the public report can be produced without issuing thousands of live requests.
Validation and exclusions
- Indicators require sufficient history before a ticker can qualify for a long-term rule.
- Known scale-break and split checks are used in research backtests to avoid treating a vendor price discontinuity as an investable gain or loss.
- Liquidity and available-history filters remove many assets that are not suitable for a practical watchlist.
- Missing fundamentals are displayed as missing; they are not silently converted into favourable values.
Remaining limitations
Data vendors can revise fields, historical quotes can be adjusted differently across exchanges, and a symbol can represent a different listing or security over time. Corporate actions, delistings, foreign-exchange conversion, and sparse OTC trading can materially change an apparent result. Users should verify important figures in current company filings and exchange disclosures.
